1. What are hits/views?
Hits and views are the same in our system. You get 1 hit/view when a unique surfer (unique IP) visit one of your images. We save the IP of the surfer for 4 hours. This way it is impossible to fake our system with many image views from the same visitor.

2. What kind of traffic is allowed?
We allow traffic from all countries, however a user may not be tricked into clicking your links. We also do not allow promotion through spam, autosurf and bots. All users violating this policy will be banned and their earnings forfeited.

3. Is this service free?
Yes! If you are a member and want to use the comfortable upload tools to upload many images in one step, you need Upload Credits.

4. Is this service international?
Yes, as of now we allow users from any country.

Note: Currently all payments are paid in USD currency and will remain the same for the foreseeable future.

5. Is adult content allowed?
Yes, as long as you post only images where you have the right to. Also make sure you post all adult material in the &Adult& category!!!

6. How much can I earn? (only for registered users)
Earnings vary each month based off the amount of income Picbase generates from advertising. Once this number is finalized 30% (+10% of refered uploaders) of that is distributed throughout Picbase members depending on how many image views they have accrued.

For example, if in month one Picbase calculates to distribute $1,000 to our members, we will first tally up the total number of image views for that month. Using these two numbers we can determine the respective payouts for each user. If there were a total of 500,000 image views for the month, image views will equate to $0.002 each (1,000 divided by 500,000), or $2 per 1000 image views. If you're posting lots of pics in forums, web sites or eBay, you can see how easy it is to earn quite a bit of money!

Our goal is to pay out enough to keep users happy, while still being able to sustain development costs, hosting fees, salaries, etc.

7. How will I receive my earnings? What payment methods are available? (only for registered users)
Currently all payments are sent via PayPal and wire transfer. We expect to add other payment methods in the near future, as well as payment by check.

8. Is there a minimum payout? (only for registered users)
Yes. You must earn over 25.00 USD to recieve a payout.

9. How long does it take for a payment request to be processed? (only for registered users)
Give us between 1-3 business days to send your money.

10. Is there a any limit of number of images I can upload or galleries I can create?
No Picbase has no limit on the amount of images you can upload or number galleries you can create. But you should weigh if it is still usable to the visitors to have more than 1000 images in a gallery.

11. What kind of content is prohibited?

We do not allow bestiality, zoophilia and pedophiliac content. This includes, but is not limited to, persons under the age of 18 either posing as "models" or taking part in otherwise sexually implicit or explicit situations. Pictures that infringe on the copyrights of any entity. This includes, but is not limited to, copyrighted photographs, as well as pictures for which user lacks usage and/or distribution permissions.

Uploading any type of the above-mentioned files will result in he immediate termination of the Picbase account and forfeiting any unpaid revenue. Users uploading illegal or pedophiliac content will be banned. We will also work with the authorities and disclose your connection details and any other identifying information where required by law.

To report infringements of the above-mentioned, please report the picture and/or gallery using the Abuse Link which you can find at the bottom of every page.

12. How long is the storage time?

We host your images 150 days if you're not a registered user. Registered users have the ability to extend the storage time for free 7 days before a image or images expire.
